SPI playing up a bit - suggestions?
Discussion
I've a 1995 SPI sprite that has developed a stutter at start up - just a moentary hiccupv - always starts but takes that second to find a steady idle speed.
When driving it judders when driving at lowish revs as if the mix is completely wrong going into the engine. Seems worse in the cold weather. Give it some revs though and there's no probs.
Will a computer tell me where the fault is as I've heard conflicting reports about this sort of problem? - what is the most likely culprit to do such a thing? (assuming its a cracked air pipe or a dodgy sensor most likely)

the most common problems on spis are the green air temp sensor in the air box, these always show as a fault when i put my code reader on them, once it clears the fault it normally stays away, its not the sensor that fails as such, it just gets confused
the other problem is the vac pipes break the rubber ends and leak air, the cheap fix is to buy the carb mini ones and use those
