That's the question - is there one in your Mini?

My first car was a 67 Mini 850. Ii got it in 1970. I passed my test in it, did loads of fun things in it (!) and even toured Europe in it.

I am now a venerable old git and no longer have a Mini. I did buy one for a young friend about ten years ago, fixed it up, got about two hours into a journey to deliver it, got stuck in a jam on the M6 and eventually fell out of the car with severe cramp in my left leg. It seems that the comfortable driving position when I toured Europe in 1974 was agony in 2002!

I digress.

I now have a TVR with mice in it. No, it's not a make of windmills, despite what you read in the press, but the mouse does appear to have had clogs on.......loads of damage to the wiring and gear lever and handbrake gaiters.

I have repaired everything, but am struggling to source the rubber handbrake gaiter/boot. it isn't on most Chimaeras, but I want one on mine. The nub of this post is that the handbrake lever itself reminds me of my mark 1/2 Mini ones. So I was wondering if any of you Mini fans have a rubber gaiter around your hand brake, and if you do, would you be willing please to post a pic of t so that I can see if it will fit?

Many thanks
