Speedo Cable Removal

One of the hardest jobs on a mini is disconnecting the speedo cable at the gearbox end. Unless you have stick thin arms, double jointed wrists and a vice like grip it usually requires lifting the engine or removing the radiator and/or exhaust to get access to the retaining nut.

The answer is a Screwfix "Basin Wrench" (catalogue number: 14631, cost: £5.49) which makes undoing the nut a very easy job!
