Hi Folks

I'm having a bit of garage clear out & a while ago I bought a job lot of parts for my Tr7 and these 2 alloys were with the stuff. They obviously aren't off a TR7 and someone in the TR forum mentioned a mini as a likely candidate.

They're 10" wheels and very wide! I'm not sure exactly where I should be measuring the width but they're 8" to the edges of the rim 7.5" if you measure to the insides of the rims.

Are they racing wheels being so wide?

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

James

Yup, they're Mini wheels. Forgotten the make for the minute but a lot of MIN'S had them back in the day.

they are the old 1970's racing revolutions, used on minis and single seaters.

once split rims became affordable, the 7x10 revs died a death.

they wont go on a road car as you can only fit slicks / wets onto them

mini7 site might be worth a punt too. 7"x10 is the size Miglia run for Dunlop slicks.

Used to be used by sidecar racers as well.
