So what is the better carb to go for, HIF44 or HIF6, or indeed any other model of su carb. (not twins)

Its to go on a 1275 metro unit.

As far as I now they are exactly the same. First it was called HIF6 then 44.

HIF44 is good for 1275 engines 60-95bhps. Below this use single HIF38, above two.
