is there any way to test the water ways on a cylinder head ?

my engine is over heating severely and its the only option left to try.

you can remove the head and have it pressure tested at a machine shop, but its very very rare for a mini cast iron head to get into a situation where the waterways will be blocked to cause problems with the cooling.

if its using water you can pressure test it in situ, but is it wont hold pressure you will need to investigate further.

are you sure its not a distributor, fueling or gasket issue
