Hello all, so any of you going this year? would be nice to get an idea of PHers attending?

also if anyone is keen two of us so far are meeting up at Moss Hanworth on Saturday and heading to Crystal palace from there.

looking forward to it, i always find myself full of ideas after seeing what everyone else has done.

me and a few pals are doing this, we have done for the last 6 years.

Friday night in central-London, Saturday at CP park, then Sunday in Stafford, home on Monday.

usually an 1100 mile round-trip for us - fun, but a bit harsh for me in mine with no soundproofing and a straight-cut box with SC drops in it - 69mph on the satnav, is the cruising-speed my ears can cope with.

looking forward to that first couple of miles on the M23 when all the bods in bini's come flying past expecting to burn off the old cars - only one has managed in 6 years.

look for the large Scotland flag - we will be hard to miss.

Car not finished anyway so looking forward to next year when I can be a participant as opposed to a spectator.

I had to sell my ticket Saturday as I could not get out of helping my in-laws move house!! ButI managed to have a sneaky ride up the route heading in the wrong direction, so from Coulsdon to Croydon I got to see a good few hundred minis. So if you waved at a black '71 with Castrol stickers on the side, it was me. It was good to see so many minis left on the road, they are becoming rarer but I saw some really nice examples.

Mrtee,

It was indeed an eventful trip. Looking forward to it AND IMM in Italy, and yes, you are going (with the kids too)

Just thought I'd chuck a couple of pics in for those who may have missed another great run (our 8th!) the girls loved it as always - another job well done by the LSMOC and other assisting organisers etc, thank you! smile

woo-hoo - Im in this picture!!

if you come directly down the line of the ferris-wheel, parked on the side nearest the camera, you can see a red car with a Scotland-flag and a Lion-rampant flag - thats me!!

1017 miles in 4 days in a 51 year old car!, and it never missed a beat!

you'll have to start really hard on the convincing me of that - it would be sans-kids though, as its in term-time!

1100 miles there, 1100 back!!

Just noticed this thread (been busy) and here's a few pics from me. Great weekend apart from breaking down near Croydon (orange Rover Cooper on one way system) but got there by midday.

Great weekend
