Cool. Reminds me of my '74 Mini that was subsequently ruined by my brother's mate that bought it.

Cheers - the tints were actually put in by my brother (when I let him have it for a few months), although my dad had an Island Blue one in the 70's with the same tints. Does that make them retro-cool?

Wow, it's clean

Thought you might have put the chrome strip on by now though, or did you decide to cop out on that one.

Is the blob next to it Daves then?

Unfortunately so - I think it was in a moment of jelly-mould, 'normal' car madness. He wants to buy the mini off me though - he's trying to raise the funds. I couldn't really let it go somewhere other than family or someone who I know is going to look after it.

And not crash it into another ditch...

Hi Ricky

Live in Gosforth - over in Hexham every now and then with my boss (to get his TVR fixed/serviced). Not in any of the clubs as the mini is convalescing at my parents house (in Yorkshire, just round the corner from Ian, aka Miniholic). Torn between selling it (to a family member as I can't let it go anywhere else) or spending more of the bank's money re-shelling it. Why do minis do that to you?

Chris,

Why don't you give it free to a good home (mine of course). Look what Dave did to it last time he had it, he'll put neon washer jets on it next

Anyway, didn't you once own a Ford Kak? Or was that just a rumour?

He's called Mark - metallic red Tuscan with a private reg. Don't fancy a TVR yourself then?

The rumours are indeed true - although I only bought it so I could write it off (another adventure down a ditch). Still, I've not got a M*tro in my motoring past...

Yeah - a dark blue one. Do you work in the workshop?
On another note, are you all going to be wearing cossack hats at drinking vodka now the Russians own you?

I prefer to think of them as a Mini donor vehicle, besides it was cheap, and at least it was built in the right factory

A valid point, but in roadgoing form they're still
