My Mini Project ...

Cheers.
At the minute I'm in the middle of changing over the brakes. Fitting new pipe lines all round, rubber and copper pipes. Shoes and springs.
The back end is up on axel stands, the drums are off and been cleaned and had a couple of coats of primer. There are two little rust holes at the back of the wheel arch on both sides (about 50p size), hopefully will get this done within the next couple of weeks. That's the last bit of rust on the car.
So far had complete front end, wings, a panels, windscreen scuttle and new bonnet.
rear quarter panel on drivers side and also a new boot floor.
Full repray in original colour.

Garage is coming to pick the mini up on thursday to give it the once over and finish off all the little bits that I can't do. Then do the MOT. Will be the first time in over 4 years it will be on the road so getting a little excited. Hopefully they don't find nothing to seriously wrong with it.
Will have to up load some of the resto pics for you all to see.

Drove the mini to work today for the first time. Carefully going over the speed bumps in the office car park.
Will have to get the pictures sorted and post them on the restoration work.
Looking forward to the resto pics. I'm always going over the speed bumps on the road to the office slowly! Got to look after the old girl haha. Will have to get the pictures sorted and post them on the restoration work.

We recently had these stupid plastic ones put in which I thought I wasn't going to get over but the car cleared them which no issue it was the old concrete ones which it touched slightly but just try do them as slow as possible.
