Moving the Choke control

I have a roll cage in the Mini which has a dash bar which blocks access to the switch panel on the dash. I've moved the switches but also need to move the choke control. As I've removed the rear seats and moved the front seats further back I'd also like to put the choke control within easier reach, somewhere near the handbrake looks promising. I have some bike brake control cable of the right length, but nothing on the end to actuate it (yet). Has anyone done something similar before, just looking for some inspiration really

Thumb shifter from a bike would work.

Im my experience there is quite limited space between the seats. You may consider mounting the choke on the inner sill. Thats what I also plan to do

camelotr, are you using the original mini cable and control or something else?

Something else, but I dont know the origin.
