Anyone here have/had one?
I'm looking at a MK1 double skin, carbon is a bit too expensive and steel isn't cheap either.

Experiences?

Does it flex much?

No, mine is actually quite nice quality, double skinned, mk3 but it was already on the car when I got it so I gave no idea where it is from sorry. It has a regular boot handle but it is cosmetic, it is actually secured by dzuz fasteners either side. No it doesn't flex at all and I sm sure with a bit of patience you could get the full locking mechanism glassed in. It it very very light though, even with double skinning, and the surface finish is good but would never win a concourse! My car has a full fibreglass front end, skinned doors, fibreglass boot and Perspex windows, all headlining and sound proofing removed. I would not actually bother though if you just fancy the boot??

Yeah it is just the boot I am after.
FG is just the cheapest option.

Was bought some years ago, price was £54.00 complete, however they do a skin which is half the price!
I purchased a front end, arches, door skins and A panels and was delighted by the quality and finish.
Best of luck
