hey guys whilst im fitting a watson k series kit to my clubman im thinking about adding a sunroof. how difficult is it? i want just a standard pop up type not the retractable rag top things.
anyone done it themself?

I wouldnt bother.

I had a sunroof in my Mini it leaked like mad. Yes all the seals etc were changed etc more than once.

It would also be a right pain to do it.

I wouldn't go for pop up type as they are prone to leaking. 'rag type' are less prone but both are reasonably easy to fit.
Drop headlining, the pop up sunroof will have an inner 'ring' that is fixed to outer ring of roof, remove this and use for template, draw round inner edge then allow5/10mm for clearance. cut out, replace headlining, cut lining smaller than hole and lift up to lip over roof, stick to outer roof. drop sunroof into hole and refit inner 'ring'. half a days work if youve not done before
