Hi Guys,
As a classic Mini owner,How are you guys planning on the new increase to 10% Ethanol in the classic "A" series motors..I have read some horror stories on this very subject.
Mostly,In the stuff rotting the fuel tanks, fuel pipes and seals belonging to the induction system.

As i understand,The current (E5) 5% already in the petrol is almost safe to use in classic engines but,The increase to 10%(E10) is a diffrent story....Kevo.

Yes..That will be ok for people using the car everyday..But,I would imagine there would be quite a lot of mini`s only driven through the summer month`s..Perhaps,Some not doing very many miles per annum...
Then there`s the issue`s of rotting fuel lines,Pipe`s and tanks as the Ethanol turns to acid..???.

Use aviation petrol, Avgas 100LL, which is a leaded petrol. It ain't cheap though at around £7 per gallon.
