My son 4 months away from driving age is nagging me like mad about getting a Mini as his first car.
He and I have pulled apart and rebuilt a few cars, I actually think he may not like it as much as he thinks.

Can we come and have a look at your car, and so he can sit in it and get a feel ?

Many thanks

David

998 Mini City's are one of the cheapest cars to insure, with many 17 year olds insurance heading north of £2k, might be something to consider.

I would recommend going down this route as I have just bought one for my first car - a 1977 Mini 1000. I live in Sheffield though so can't help you banghead

One thing to note is that I found that insurance for me was nearly £2k more for a 1275, which ruled out Coopers frown the cheapest for mine at the moment is just under £2k, although I'm still searching for a classic company which will insure 17-year-olds.

ETA - cheeky pic wink

You can come and look at mine but I don't think it will have the desired effect!
