Hi guys

Just bought a Mini 1000 for my son; 1977 model. He has been looking on the Internet for various companies selling spares etc. and came across Mini Spares.

The website and range of parts and accessories looks good, but how do they compare on price and service with any other companies that may be out there.

Any help or advice would be great

Thanks

I've been dealing with Mini Spares since about 1985 and they are one of the best suppliers around.
They may not be the cheapest, but their stuff is the best quality I've found.
Keith Dodd, who owns the company, is a true enthusiast and he ploughs a lot of cash back into produce improvement and into making NLA parts to original specifications.
As with most things, you can usually buy cheaper, but with lower quality.

As per the above, one of the best companies in the classic Mini scene!

Started using Mini Spares for my beloved Mini Clubman in 1986 and got to know Jason King, Paul Wiffin who had if I remember had the fastest road Mini and now runs Wiffbits and Gary Pattinson. We had great service from Mini Spares.

And for good advice about Mini parts and most other things, 'guru1071' on here runs Mini Spares North in Harrogate. You can always call him (Richy) at work or PM him on here.

Have used Mini Spares many times and cannot fault them, but just to give the OP an alternative MRA Minis are also excellent.

Unfortunately MRA have gone into liquidation, but Martin is going to get going again with a new company soon he is hoping.

Oh really?! I've been out of Mini's for about a year now so would've missed that! Such a shame as I know Martin and Debbie(?) were real diamonds.

Mini Spares are decent... but Mini Sport are better.

Can't tell you how many time I've been down to Mini Spares and they don't have something in stock so then I just buy it from Mini Sport.

I've found Mini Sport and Mini Spares to be equally as good. Go to their web sites, if one doesn't have what you want, the other probably will.
