Hi all,

The GF needs 4 new tires for her '72 mini 1000. We live in N.Bristol and have been quoted £180 for 145 / 10 budgets (Regal) fitted.

Anybody know of any better deals than this?

Will 165 / 70 fit the std 10'' wheel and are these any cheaper?

www.blackcircles.com

Falkens (mid range) £45.72 a corner fully fitted, so 182.88

Or if you can find a fitting shop that'll do the fitting cheap

Huddersfield minispares

Falkens are £30 a corner
Kumho's are £25 a corner

Don't know delivery costs though.

Try Minimail ( www.minimail.co.uk) They're in Kilcot (a little north west of Gloucester), they break mini's and have a lot of 2nd hand bits (as well as new), maybe they have some part worns. (Call first!!)

You need to check the width of the wheels. The 10" wheels on early drum-braked Minis were only 3.5" width, so it has to be a 145 section tyre. For a 165 section you need 4.5" wide up to 6" wide.
