How much would you expext a 40yr old with full licence to pay for z cars 2.0 type r insurance fully comp?I pay £750 fully comp for a caterham with a 190bhp hayabusa in it on a 07.2nd car limited mileage.Adrian flux quoting £1350 for 5k miles per annum??The telesales girl wanted to know what the car was wether it was an austin or a rover mini?????What odds does that make?Any other modifications?Where do you want to start??They havent a clue its not a saxo with a bigger exhaust on??Has anybody got a contact or is there somebody out there who i can deal with or is that price about normal????help please.

Can you insure it as a kitcar? If not, its a highly modified mini and there lies your problem. Try speaking to Chris at Z-cars and see what his other customers do.

It dose sound very high. I was on less than £200 for a clubman rollcage and 115bhp on 3000 miles a year. I did have to try about 6 companye befor getting a good price. (36 at the time)

I got quoted £500 by adrian flux and sureterm, but got it from 2gether insurance for £200, 3000 miles and £20000 agreed value, I'm 33.
