hey guys been wanting a mini van for years and am finally in the position to get one. the thing is im thinking i want some modern reliability/speed to it as i have had a few minis (850's - 1275's) and although i love driving them they lack the power. iv looked into z cars rwd monsters and nearly bought myself the bike engine kit for my current mini.
for a van iv been looking into the front engine kits that watson do and have decided that is the route id like to take.
the big issue is i have 2 prostectic legs and can only drive an automatic. zcars proposed i use the volvo conversion which could work with an automatic box. the watson kit is for the type R vtec kit which that engine never had an automatic option.
what im trying to find out is
would the watson kit take a standard vtec engine with auto box? was it any different to the type R engine as far as size/mounting it goes?
hope this makes sence to someone
cheers

i agree but it wouldnt mean cutting it about to much. the watson front engine kit fits in fairly easily with very little body mods (90mm extension on the round front type). id use a van all the time and need it to bebale to hold its own on the motorway. wouldnt do anything to it that couldnt be put back to standard if needs be
