145 R10 for race
Discussion
I can't find any of those tyres listed in the UK.
The only ones I can find at 145/80 x 10 are the Falkens which Minis Spares and others do and some cheap budget ones make unspecified. You will be best to go to 4.5" wheels and fit the Yokohama 165/70 x 10 or a similar tyre.
The Avon and Dunlop in that size are both excellent, but expensive. The Yokohame is also excellent and the Falken in that size is a good ntyre for rallying on poor surfaced tarmac roads.

We will see.
I think I have got all the 998 homologaions. In my opinion 3 things are vital for a good mini: brake, supension, tyre. There is only one case when the three meets together: the post 78 mini 1000, but this will position the mini against tought competition.
In most cases the suspension os only allowed to be hydrolastic. Which I think is impossible as there are no new hydrolastic units and they will perish quickly.
Others only allow to use the 7in brakes or drums. Which are also making things difficult.
The third type will only let You use 3.5 rims. Which will only take 145 tyres.
Not easy. I looked over every homologation from Innocenties to Authies, but nowhere did I found a perfect solution.
