New mini project....
Discussion
So, inspired by the minis hooning around Goodwood at the Revival I have agreed to purchase an engine and gearbox-less mini from a specialist who bought it for the engine. Plan is to put a warmed up 1300 engine in it. Its not a genuine Cooper S, and I dont want a replica, just something I will enjoy and use on road and track. All views more than welcome.
It was advertised as a MkII. It clearly isn't a MKII.
Don't worry about authenticity tosh - build the car you want, and then enjoy it. Your car may soon fall into the covetable category of not requiring road tax. Hope you've got log book and matching VINs after the re-shell (MkIII shell).
