Fuel Filter - Problems
Discussion
Hey guys... need help...
This weekend I was under the mini to exchange the fuel filter (1.3 spi) and after I removed the old filter I noticed that the in thread is small and the out is larger... very odd!!! Is this normal... don't ask me the sizes because I didn't measure, but the fact is the new fuel filter now fits for the smaller thread without adapter and the out thread wont fit... is it an adapter for this? Or I will have to get a new fuel hose with small thread... I checked the prices and new filter costs as much as new fuel hose...

Thats pretty universal for most cars to have a different size at each end that way you cant get the filter in the wrong war around. Dont know about your other problem, sorry. This weekend I was under the mini to exchange the fuel filter (1.3 spi) and after I removed the old filter I noticed that the in thread is small and the out is larger... very odd!!! The filter has same thread measure on both sides... just checked it... it has nice arrows painted over it so you wont get mounted wrong...Gassing Station | Classic Minis | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
