Does any know of, or could recommend a mini garage / dealer / scrap dealer in the Norfolk area.

YOu have drums at the moment? So you'll need mini hubs, mini calipers, new discs, new pads, new brake pipes, CV's and new wheel bearings. Are you only doing the front?

Well front and rear needs to be done. fronts are disc anyway being a 93. but they need to be replaced so looking upgrade the whole lot really but was wondering if anyone had second hand parts or spare parts for this instead of spending mega bucks on new equip.

If you already have discs, just buy a calliper re-build set, new brake pipes as necessary, new good-quality discs (not very expensive) and re-build the system. Get new rear wheel cylinders and linings.
Get quality front pads and rear shoes.
Then you'll have a fine braking system.
Road Minis don't need those fancy 4-pot thingys, or vented discs as they are not a heavy car and stop very well with good quality standard brakes. If you want even more fade-free stopping power under extreme conditions, then get the competition pads as sold by 'Questmead Ltd' of Rochdale (see their web site).
