Pitting inside brake caliper

There is pitting in the other half, but not as bad a this.

Does the caliper need replacing?

i would say that if the pitting is only on the base then it will be ok.

if its on the sides where the seal rubs, then the caliper is scrap as its going to cause problems.

calipers are not very expensive, so if you have any doubt, sling it!
