Hello, could someone please help me to identify what this item is and how much it's worth? I know its a quick shift but what model? ....

It looks like a KAD quickshift for me. Quite expensive new 100+ pounds as far as I remember.

Not sure its a KAD version, the machining looks different around the top. Is there a grease nipple on it OP?

My Kad quick shift has the nipple on the side shown, I didn't think some of the earlier Kad ones had the nipples on them. Unless the op has the actual gear lever that part isnt worth much tbh, I only paid around £90 recently for my Kad one directly from them

thats not a KAD item

the early KAD ones (with the removable lever which came without the gear knob) where anodised blue and had a different shape.

the later KAD ones (with the fixed gearlever, grease nipple and 'lift to select reverse' gearlever) have a similar looking alloy part to the photo, but, again, its blue, has a groove machined aroung the top and a silver knurled finished part.

the purple one in the picture looks as if its one of those super cheap gearbox wreckers!

You mean the well-known 'Quik-Graunch' shifter?
