Speedo stopped working!

3 posibles, in order of what is most lightly.

The cable need replacing

The drive in the gearbox need replacing (is done from outside)

The Speedo is faulty

I had the same problem and thankfully I saw this post. I will check the cable tomorrow and see if it is the problem, I hope I do not need to replace some of the Mini parts I am short on budget now.

My cable snapped quite oddly.
Bought another this morning and all working fine now.
