WIRING (Mystery Multiblock) and H564 TGT Cooper
Discussion
Hiya Guys and Gals,
I am rewiring my TVR 3000M with a Mini’s wiring loom. I have had a fair number of Minis in my time and thought I knew the loom like the back of my hand. I have found that in the loom I bought from Mini Classics from a 1990 Mayfair there is a Grey Plastic Multiplug with about 8-10 thin wires coming from it! I don’t think it is stereo related and it’s definitely not the plug for the 3 binnacle dashboard clocks.
Anyone got any ideas!!?!
Also has anyone seen my 1990 Mini Cooper (H564 TGT) about. Black with Sportspak arches and 7x13 Image split rim RM1s? Sold in November last year to a chap called Sean --------?
Any help is gratefully received.

If the grey connector has the connectors in a line, and there are 6 wires then that's the one for the standard (Phillips) radio cassette. The instrument binacle plug is about 10-12mm wide by 30mm long with copper 'skids' to connect with the film printed circuit on the instruments. Is it a 'side by side' connector ?? i.e. 6 side by side with 1 on the center line ?? Could be one of the ones for stalk switches ??
