What fuel do you use? If it's 'cheap' supermarket stuff try filling up next time with something better like BP or Shell and see if it makes a difference. Also, is the fuel in the tank old and gone off?

I always fill up with Shell, bp or texaco, I use the car as my everyday drive, Im thinking there maybe a fault with the ECU but not to sure

There is a filter in the fuel line, I think its the valves not seated correctly, I over heated the engine badly because the fan did not kick in and since then its just run very bad

I took the head off and 2 of the valves have a small amount of oil on them,
Im going to take the head the the machine shop and get them to check it. Im going to change the head gasket aswell. The head was skimed about 6 months ago. hopefully this will fix it
