Where to hire a Mini?

Hi all,

I have a friend who wants to re-live his youth and hire a Mini for a road jaunt to France. Ideally he would like to hire a rally prepared Mini, complete with cage and straight cut box etc, ideally in historic or Monte Carlo spec.

My friend is of mature years (fifties) and so will not be looking to trash said Mini but will look after it accordingly. The reason he wants this is because he and his lady are going with friends for a long weekend to Normandy, and everyone has agreed to go in 2-seater cars. So far a Caterham and an XK120 are attending. My friend had originally attempted to hire a Bugatti T35 (yes really ) but has now given up on that. He has been offered an Audi R8 but doesn't think that's quite in the spirit, etc.

He's not afraid to spend some money if that's what it takes, so does anyone know where he could start to look to hire either a rally-prepared Mini or a bog standard classic Mini (in good/restored condition of course)?

In June, in fact I think his trip coincides with the Le Mans weekend.
