Triangulation brace bars are a must - front edge of subframe back to to top pf bulkhead in line with main turrent bolt. In a frontal I'd rather have this set up than conventioanl inner/outer wings. Migs and se7ens run this structure.
I'd make the flip front of of steel for some furtehr crash protection - glassfibre/carbon ones just vapourise (personal experience racing )
What are the rules concerning MOT and inner wings - I'm also keen to know before I take the angle grinder to the inner wings on my road shell.
