So after various swear words, sore knuckles and nackered threads. Ive decided to use new nuts, bolts and washers for rebuilding the Van where I can.

But what the hell are the most comman size threads? I've found out the most comman head sizes are 5/16", 1/4" and 3/8".

Anybody used Namrick? looking to get about 20-30 of each size to start off with.

As I understand it UNF are the general types used on the body and subframes and UNC are for cast ali items.

So what are the comman thread lengths would you say also...

1", 1"1/4, 1"/1/2 or each head size would that cover it?

Really does depend on the application, but I find shortening bolts far easier than lengthening them...

Namrick it is then.

This could lead to an unhealthy addiction to buying nuts and bolts...... biggrin

I'm already addicted. There's nothing like a box of shiny nuts and bolts, segregated into their different sizes. Did I tell you I don't get out much?
