Just wondering how many of you guys (if any!) get the chance to have a TVR as a courtesy car when your cars are in for a service. I usually end up with a VW Golf, Peugeot 206/305 or similar .

As I've only ever driven a Cerbera 4.5 it would be good to get an insight into the other cars of the marque (i.e Tuscan, Griffith, Chimaera, Tamora) but my only real chance of this is when I (eventually) trade in the Cerby.

I've often thought of hiring a TVR when the car is in for a service - has anyone done this? If so was it worth paying over the odds for the privilege?

Just a thought, but could you not get a long test drive of another car while yours is being serviced?!?! I think they ask for a deposit (well, OvLov did with my dad anyway) incase you bend it but I don't think too many dealers would object as they have your car anyway!!!

Had a few probs with my Chim 500 from new and the dealer tried to fob me off with a Ford Ka(K)which I was having none of, and after a bit of a feud, all he had was a 4.2. cerbera that had been round the world a few times. Just goes to show though, making a scene works !!!

Is this the first 100k+ Cerbie?

Last time I had my Chim serviced Fernies gave me a 1.0 Micra! Having said that if I had been given a Cerbie I might not have wanted the Chim back!

TVR Power will give you a "P" reg Chimaera 4L. Looks a bit shabby, but still motors.
