Autocar has a hot 100 this week and have put their money where their mouth is and bought a used Griff for £15K.

It's always great to see more TVR's in the press. Especially if it adds to the interest in the marque.

I would however like to see these articles be more accurate, I think that the article refers to a thorough examination, immaculate paintwork , and stone chips reflecting 37K miles, I think most of us here know this isn't a possible combination without some paint work. I also think the car they have, has had a new front end aswell (Grig 500 vs Grif 4.3 grill), so at some point it's also had an accident. ( This may not be a problem but it is misleading, but would explain the immaculate paintwork.

Does any one agree?

Sounds like a bargain, it was a TVR Ex-Company car. Look's in really good condition as well.

SMB, I agree I think it has had a few upgrades as it was being looked after by the factory.

No point being careful Nick, I've met her quite a few times and she is not only gorgeous, but a credit to TVR with her enthusiasm for the cars
....I'm quite sure she enjoys all the compliments

PS. She does look very nice with her hair down, I've never seen her like that before.....

Sue has left. She has gone to BMW in Germany.

She was just as bad for the "Max Factor" look but carried it off. Sue was genuinely a nice girl. I really like her.

Have I missed any updates in Autocar about this....

Or has it been so reliable that they have been waiting to break something expensive, to make an interesting story.!

I thought they sold it after 6 months, no drama, just a fun summer, as planned. ... Unlike the LHD 911 which lost them loads of money.
