Autopower-magazin have brought out a judgement of fastest and sportiest cars. A kind of mixture of power/weight ratio, top speed and acceleration etc.
gives each car an amount of points. To reach the league a minimum of 8 points is needed
(ie. Mini CooperS 7,4).
TVR´s reached:
Cerbera 4.5 3,3
Cerbera 4.4 3,6
Tuscan S6 3,6
Chimaera 500 3,7
Griffith 500 3,7
Tamora 3,8
Chimaera 450 4,2
For those who whish comparison (just some interesting out of ca. 400):
BMW Z8 4,5
Z3M 4,8
M3 4,8
Corvette 4,6
575M Maranello 3,8
360 Modena 4,1
Jaguar XKR 5,1
SL55 AMG 4,4
SLK 320 6,7
MG TF 160 7,5
Morgan Aero 8 4,6
Subaru WRX STi 5,7
VW Golf V6 4M 7,0
Maserati Coupe 4,5
Esprit V8 GT 4,3
Elise 5,8
Mitsubishi EVO 7 4,9
BoxsterS 5,7
911 Carrera 4,6
911 Turbo 3,9
911 GT2 3,6
Vauxhall Speedst.6,2
Lamborghini Murc.3,3
Hope this is interesting for you,
please don´t forget, above facts are made by the authors of that magazine, not by me!

if I understand correctly:

the lower the amount of points, the better the rating

all the TVR's are very close to the best of the best (GT2 and the likes) which is excellent!

Griffithy,

What do the numbers actually mean? (Too much money spent on petrol to be able to afford the magazine you quoted from...)

I suspect 0 to 60 times 3,3 = 3.3...

Don't think so, they are quick, but not that quick.

That´s right. 0-60 time is only part of their formula,
a German magazine that is.
As you see, the comparison of (true)sportscars gives TVRs an excellent reputation, that´s what I wanted to tell you.
