mel pointed us TVR enthusiasts to an Auction for Classic TVR Collectors cards a couple of weeks back at an Auction on E-bay!
An Auction that I won for 3.75!!
I have since bidded for a brand new, unfingered copy of Muscles and Curves, a Griffith Sales Brochure, and an Aston Martin Parking Only sign! Like the ones that can be seen outside AM's Newport Pagnell HQ (I didn't go to MK for nothing you know!)
And I have won them all!
So for under £30 including P&P I will soon have all of the above!

Mel - If your at Chatsworth, I'll buy (or give you) a Pint/bottle of appletise

That site is a great place to pick up TVR Stuff!! Don't fancy the Scalextric cars though!!

Oh my god yes, and hardware. If the wife hadn't confiscated my credit card, my study would have been home to a Sun 220R, big SGI box (can't remmeber which one - but it wa going cheap), couple of Compaq Proliants (for door stops or book ends) . So much ex .com kit going for a song!!

Ted, if you need hosting, I could be the man for the job!!!

Steve (and his anorak, yellow of course)

Amazing. For £80 you get to work for free as a pit lackey, but you do get a stale sandwich, a photo, and an old polo shirt at the end of it.

So how does this e-bay thing work chaps? OK so I register and then what? Do I stick a sort of "wanted" bid on there or can I only bis for stuff that is already advertised? R...

Pedestrian - I didn't like to say at the time, but my bid was highest. I didn't bid over the reserve and now the auction's over I haven't heard anything. Looks like the owner didn't want to give her Chimaera away! Still, you've got to try. Seems I'll have to go the full-price route to TVR ownership now.

Thub - unlucky mate - as it says: This is a Reserve Auction in which the reserve price was not met. Therefore, there is no transaction between the seller and the high bidder, they possibly wanted over the odds anyway??. Still, best of luck with your search..
