I have a strange problem with my clutch pedal on my 4.3 Griff. When the car has been left for a while in the garage, the first time I depress the clutch, there's no pressure behind it. Once it's been pressed once, it operates normally. I never have problems changing gear or anything like that. Has anyone else experienced this? Is that just a feature of TVRs (although it does seem a bit odd)? If not, does anyone know how to cure it?

Thanks,

Dan.

Check for fluid leaks from either master or slave cylinder, the rubber seals get hard/perish over time if not used regularly. Overhaul kits are quite cheap and easy to do.

I thought it could be air, but wouldn't that cause a problem all the time? This problem only occurs the very first time I press the clutch after the car has been left in the garage for a while. Where do I check for leaks? Are the master and slave cylinders hidden in the driver's front wing under the cover with generous helpings of silicone sealant all around it?

Thanks,

Dan.
