i was just wondering if a griff could be used as a daily?
because one day i hope to get one(have an s3 at the mo) but im worried about the cost of running( how easy is it to do most of the work yourself)
and apart from the cooling thing what they like for daily motorway travel?? any help would be great thanks

Absolutely no worries - go for it. I use my car everyday and do 15k to 20k pa in it. Sure it likes a drink and the maintenance can be expensive, but you can do a lot yourself (see exhaust manifold gaskets for example below - TVR main dealer £300, you £30 and a few hours).

Just find a good one (later the better and not a sunny day only car) and go for it!
