Had been waiting for Thursday night all week as I managed to get myself a date with an absolutly gorgeous young lady!
Spent Wednesday night washing the Griffith, ready for my big night!
Rushed home from work this evening and refitted the carpets, which I had removed to clean!
Now i'm supposed to meet my date at 8.00 in town, so only being a short drive away, climbed into my car at about 7.50.

My Griffith is used every day and is ultra reliable, but would it start this evening? Would it f**k!
The film Christine sprang to mind. Surely my beloved car wasn't getting jealous!

Anyway I sent her a text saying that my car wouldn't start, which must have looked like a right blow-out.

After much stressing, rushing around looking for a torch and burrying my head in the passengers footwell (trying to work out why my fuel pump wouldn't work),finally found a blown fuse for the ECU.
Obviously I had disturbed something causing a short in the footwell when I refitted the carpet, but what a bloody time to happen!!!

Eventually met up with her nearly an hour late, so it all worked out allright in the end!
