Thompson's Water Seal. Darken's it a bit as well as water-proofs it, but sunlight will have faded it anyway.

Need a bit of advice on using Renovo - how can it be applied without going over the nice white stitching on the hood?

Any tips anyone???

I guess masking tape would work but would obviously leave a strip unpainted as wide as the tape, which may look a bit silly. Mmmmmmm....

Depends which Renovo product you are talking about.

Most rooves only need the drycleaning foam that comes in a can. You can spray that anywhere, justabout. More serious jobs need the stuff that comes like paint. Tips on applying the paint can be got from Saab who are the main retail outlet for Renovo products. Just ask their service agents.

My roof was in a poor state and came up perfectly with just the foam spray. So I wouldn't rush into the paint option to quickly.

Depends how wide the tape is then... IF you cut it to JUST cover the stitching (it'd take a while!) then it wouldn't be so bad...

not as new, but MUCH better than it was.
