has anybody got a pair of old plastic door ashtrays and a couple of plastic heater vents in their garage that they don't need any more as they have replaced them with Zertec/Leven alloy ones. my ones have cracked and faded badly and I don't really want to spend the money on alloy replacements just yet ('93 Griff 4.3). if you have some and don't need them and are able to give them away, could you send me an e-mail with your address on it and i will forward you a padded, self addressed postage paid envelope. thanks in advance to any responses.

You can get astrays from the scrap yard.
Try Rear inside panels of a vauxhall chevette or vauxhall cavalier.

On the subject of Leven bits I've fitted one of their acrylic coated TVR badges to the front of my Griff, in gold it looks very classy I reckon. Rich...

Rich, is it possible for you to get a picture of that?

Yep I'll do that but I don't have a digital camera so it'll have to wait until I run off my next film sorry Rich...

p.s Just took a look at Leven's web site and must say the picture doesn't show it off at all well, I bought one because my rear badge was already acrylic coated so I knew how good they look.

On the badge photograph Richard is right, they do not come out very well as the surface is very shiny and the coating confuses most cameras. We have tried a few times in different ways but the end result does not reflect the quality and transformation.

We suggest that you talk to your local dealer as many are fitting them regularly so you will have a chance to see on a car. Some do hold a small stock.

Just bought my Chimaera from Mole Valley and they fir these new badges as a matter of course on the bonnet.

Very nice, smooth and nowhere for the all the polish to congregate!
