Brakes could be better, hence the factory upgrade.
Anything in particular wrong with them? A brake upgrade is a pretty expensive way to fix them if the problem is just stale fluid and knackered pads. I assume you aren't overheating them on public roads, especially in this weather!

Right, I had the Griff 500 for nearly 6 weeks and it has become too slow and too quiet. I'm planning on having the factory wheel / brake upgrade done, and the wadding has been removed already from the centre silencer box.
The question is what do I do next?

Call V8 Developments, they'll lighten your wallet which wiil improve your handling in return for doing all manner of things to make the car quicker engine wise. If you have a particularly heavy wallet they will take out your engine and replace it with a 5.3, nitrous nutterbastard which is nice.

Get a T350, You know you want too
NO! Had the misfortune of driving one once. A horrible, horrible car. Compared to my Griff it was like a diesel taxi. No damn use being 'fast over 6,000 rpm' thanks very much. The dials are incomprehensible (I couldn't even figure out the rev counter) and the LCD menu displays are only good for colliding with the car in front. Can't get the roof off, sounds like a diesel. The only bits I liked were the fuel filler and the fact the windows went up and down nicely. Oh, and getting out. The rest you can keep. Wouldn't pay £5 for one.
Controversial, moi? But this is the Griff forum.
That's what I like to read, a nice impartial opinion
[carpetsweep]
tall people don't fit in the passenger seat
iffy roll-over protection
putting the lid into a full boot
crap headlights
lack of rear view when the hood is down
[/carpetsweep]
Humph! - try as I might I couldn't get that list any longer....

(Teehee - they're coming in already!)
An opinion that's impartial is of little use, because you're no better off than you were before you read it... besides, I want to be JC's scriptwriter.

(I don't have tall passengers, and even if I did, they shoud be grateful for the experience)
iffy roll-over protection
(I don't roll over)
putting the lid into a full boot
(Even harder in a Tesco)
crap headlights
(I have infra-red retinas)
lack of rear view when the hood is down
(I prefer forwards, it stops me hitting things)
Bring 'em on!

Although I drive a SEAC, all the other hardcore Tivs in this area are Griffs; hence I know their weaknesses as well as their strengths. If I didn't have the SEAC, I'd have a Griff.
The Griff headlights are terrible, the others prefer to follow my SEAC at night. There are upgrades available and they have got to be a good idea!
Pebbledash loves the upgraded brakes on his Griff. They came as part of the general upgrade to 5-stud spiders being offered by the factory. He has been seriously impressed by the improvement.
The sound the Griffs make with the cats left in and just remove all the baffles is excellent and will still pass the MoT. IMHO this is well worth doing.
There's a Chim I meet sometimes that has a cunning boot release from Modwise. You wave the key fob near the numberplate and the boot opens! Magically convenient!
Finally, one upgrade my SEAC badly needs is more heat in the footwells, something Griffs are never ever short of
