went out for my first proper blast since the engine upgrades and WOW what a differance. went out with my mate who has a 5.0 and he was none to chuffed that my 4.0 litre could keep up. great fun and thanks to v8d for there work as it now seems all worth while.and the new engine sound is awesome.
Blimey I seem to remember it was about a month ago you posted the RR figures for the upgrades, you've left it a month to go for a blat .
Quiet satisfying when all is well , you'll never have the same amount of torque though but the 4ltr is such a sweet reving engine, much more fun IMHO .
You should have heard the fuss earlier in the year when 'gbgaffer' left a 500 on a up hill drag in his 'old' S4C , albeit a cossie 24v special though .

Harry, I was amazed just how quick your car was at Bruntingthorpe

Alan its goes a little quicker now . Sub 120 it will get there as quick as the next car , but I think the lack of aerodynamics of the S means that past that it can be a little drawn out.
Considering you were in the Cerb then, I just assumed you were doing 'AJP short shifting' whilst thinking of the next service bill .

Yep, sure was.
Well now you've got a RV8 version you can give it a bit more stick with a clear mind and wallet . Best hurry up though won't be able to do that in the T350T .

PS IMHO
