More Tamora
Not quite a common sight on the roads yet, but this is the first time we seen two finished Tamoras together... (pictures courtesy of TMS) |

I must admit I didn't immediately take to the Tamora when I first saw it back at Mo’Show 2000, but seeing these two side-by-side makes me think perhaps TVR have got it right, again. I reckon as people start to see these on the road and wonder “what the hell was that…” as they get blasted into the dust, we could see them become rather popular! Leaving bias aside, and let’s face it the Griffith was a design classic, it has to be admitted they do have that distinctive TVR look of "benign menace" about them. Rather like the 60's Griffith, a short-stumpy body shape tightly enclosing that bundle of power! Alongside the Tuscan TVR now have a classic shaped roadster to complement the “Buck Rogers in the 21st century” styled Tuscan.
Good luck to all you new owners I’m sure you will enjoy them, I look forward to seeing some around this spring, just don’t forget to wave at us old Griffith owners Rich…

Rich, I think you're echoing the thoughts of a lot of TVR owners who are warming to the Tamora.
I've been driving mine for 3 weeks now and you're right, people's reactions are "what's that?".
In work all the non Petrol Heads have said how much they like it. No one has yet called it ugly.
I've only passed one other TVR on the road in the last 3 weeks. That was a bright yellow Cerbera on the M6, and yes we did wave!
Cheers ....... Andrew

Flasher, are you having the ex demo TMS car then?
If so I've sat in your car! Nice interior, the yellow interior trim needed a clean when I saw it.
GB61390 - If that's your Blue car, you wen't past me the other way in Wymeswold a few weeks ago on a Saturday on my way back from TMS in my Tuscan.
And despite me waving like a complete Loon, you didn't wave back!
Enjoy chaps!

A distinct lack of Flasher today, bar stewards out and about no doubt. Only one question though flash I thought you were in stealth grey not yellow ???
Apparently he's got TMS's demo one and swapped it from his Stealth Grey one – although he'll no doubt be on here later to tell us all about his day ...
What a great day!!! I was up at 5am and when I kindly offered my Missus a cup of tea, I was rudely told to F*** off!!!! Women, they just don't understand do they?
I've done over 300 miles today and a full tank of fuel!! Met up with apache and the photos can be found on, http://web.ukonline.co.uk/cambs-tvrcc/
Off to see benno in it tomorrow to convince him the error of his Porker ways!!!

think its a bit confused Andew, you got your car before Flashers, but he changed to the TMS yellow demo car which is about 3 months old!
I think it was thought that the tms car was one of the first off the production line, full stop.
Yours is still about the earliest customer car i have heard of though...
