Hi, Mark. I'll look out for you from now on. Yes - my mate did get the TVR mag. last summer!
After his latest visit, he was also amused to see himself referred to in the S Series forum at PistonHeads!
And yes, him getting a TVR did influence my decision - although I'd been wanting one for some time. Having got a little more used to the power, and slightly less nervous of it, I'm really enjoying the car, now. Roll-on summer!
Are you a member of the TVR Car Club?
All the best,
Richard
hi richard, yes have been a member of the TVR club for a year now......well worth the subscription fee as the magazine is really quite good, all glossy with full colour photos, almost to the same qualitiy as the "porsche post" club mag, which is saying something.
Yeah, i cant wait till the summer too, get to a few race meetingsand club events and the various excellent meets by pistonhead members, went to a great "S" club meet last year, another one is soon for all TVRs, around 35 have signed up already!...how did you hear about pistonheads?
Best regards mark

Hello again, Mark, and anyone else who's listening.
I clicked to send you personal e-mail from your profile, rather than fill-up the forum with one-to-one discussions, but it said the address was invalid, so what the hell...
I joined the TVRCC and saw lots of references to Pistonheads from their discussion boards, so thought I would look-in.
I've booked for the Back Home thingy (with Chris, my other half) and plan to attend as many events as possible. Certainly the Duxford event organised by the Cambridge TVRCC branch, but also races and, hopefully at least one driving day at somewhere like the Bedford Autodrome. I've also gone to Le Mans in the last two years, and this year will be taking the Griff. Hope it's not as wet as last year! Do you go to TVRCC Regional meetings? It seems SE London/ NW Kent is our nearest.
See you around (hopefully).
Richard
hi Richard, sounds like a full year of events for you! going try to get to Duxford, if not at work. ah le mans..... was there in '95, great atmosphere, will get back there one day. Havent been to the local meet as yet, never see a write up in the mag about what they do like the other regions, but meet a couple of the members on a different meet, good bunch. Yeah for some reason my email here dosent work, have ask for it to be sorted but, hey ho.... if you fancy emailing me direct : mark.jefferson@lnn-tv.co.uk, see you soon...ive a day off tomorrow so a spin in the car is called for! mark
