I have '93 500 of which has a problematic alarm to say the least. E.g if it is stalled sometimes it doesnt want to start straight away. Thus I have to go through a long sequence of resetting, sometimes takes 5 mins to restart ( embarrasing). The TVR alarm is apparently in the loom so not easy to get at. Any ideas would be most helpful as I hate being starnaded at busy Junctions. Cheers.

Thanks for reply, read other comments, but my trev does not even crank its completelt dead until the alarm decides to reset itself & it happens in the summer too. I also have had two different incidents e.g driving the car normally the car sometimes seems to drive on a few cylinders juddering along then rights itself & is fine again (not sure if this is a petrol starvation problem). Ive even on one occasion accelerated gone over a rather large bump that I hadnt seen & the egine cut out altogether. Its all fun I suppose.
