Down to Peninsula on Friday to get my car back.Richard and team have been tweaking it for me including -:
- 17" Detroit Mag wheels + Toyos
- Nitrons
- Brakes (F 4 pot AP's/310mm, R 300mm )
- Front splitter + mesh grill
- Quad exhaust
- Modwise bits ( Glove box/Boot/2 cooling/bonnet stay)

Play for a few days then into Jason at TVRBodyshop for a twin headlight upgrade. Now saving my pennies for an ACT,Sports Cam and Mark Adams magic tour!

All sounds good stuff!

Will be interested on more views on the light upgrade, when you've experienced the result - I have been contemplating it for a couple of years. Didn't like the TVR Bodyshop approach when they first did it - but I am going to have to do something about the two candlewatt at some stage!

No sprints but a bit of tracking and too many years of driving Porkers have affected my style - i.e. get it off early and then sling it out!!

In the near Future I want to upgrade my Brakes and suspension.
Also want to add a Roll bar( just in case) It stiffens up the suspension too. Dont know whether to do that myself as it cost about 1K to buty one and have it fitted.
As for the Brakes and suspension a probably looking at 2k and i would also like the Act plenum upgrade and MA chip.
Sound like a kid in a sweet shop, ah well chrimbo soon.

What did the twin tail pipes involve Tiny ??

Will take and post pics as soon as I can after Friday.Exhaust is a Peninusla custom mod which coupled with the existing lack of pre-cats should give me the noise I crave!

Detriot wheels? I'd love to see a pic of the car too!

BTW, looking at your profile, I can help noticing a similarity:

My cars: Griff 500, Range Rover Vogue
Wife's car: BMW 325 ci

What are the chances of that happening?! - Actually, on PH, probably not that unlikely.

I've modified my Griff quite a bit, and (is this a job ever finished?) now think the Avo's need to be swapped for Nitrons and stiffer springs, and the brakes could do with beefing-up. So I'd be interested to know how you find trhe car when you've got it back and had chance to play a bit.

Tiny, if you don't want to spoil the surprise - look away now............

Looks ,no?

Don't worry I'm not stalking you.

By coincidence my Griff is down at Peninsula at the mo', & a need for 4 new brake discs has brought forward the plan to go for bigger wheels & discs.
I told Neil that I was thinking about the detroits & he said "we're fitting some to a car now, I'll email you some pics".

Small world eh?

Who are you stalking then?

I know - you're just one of those Griff spotters, we....I mean, THEY...all say that!

More importantly (well marginally!)

That looks nice, although I can't help feeling that the original look is quite hard to beat.

(Easier to clean too!)

Looks really good - very purposeful.

Although I'm intrigued to know what the story is with the 'hovering' S that you can see in the background there. Is this a top secret peninsula project?

Look great Tiny. I see you went for 17" in the front. I hope not too many Griff owners will go for these otherwise I will have to look for new ones again.

I saw this car at Peninsula on Wednesday. All I can say is

The Nitrons make it _low_ and the brakes are MASSIVE.

I really like the colour too.... Counting the days till I can buy a Griff, and seeing a car like this doesn't help!

Is it only me that has spotted the magic "Wheel-less Flying S" in the background of this picture?

Didn't read my earlier post then?!

What's suspending the S though? I mean it's hard to make out, but there doesn;t look to be a forklift under it, although you can just make out a frame of some sort, but why the hell is it up there anyway?
