12,000 Service In Midlands.
Discussion
I have recently brought a 1999 grifth 500 due its 24000 mile service.
I have a few very minor things to have sorted at the same time , ( Power steering pump leak , slight sump leak , also maybe exhaust gasket very slight blow ).
I have found the following companies which would you
recommend.
RT Racing ( Shefield )
AutoTune ( Hincley )
TVR Power ( Coventry )
I have herd Joospeed v.good bur currently 6 weeks waiting list !.
Any other recommendations ?

David Gerald is fine if you visit wearing a suit and are over 25, but anything less don't expect decent service as i didn't whilst looking to buy....but thats a long story.
Central TVR in Stourbridge easy to find good large shopping center near by (Merry Hill) and more than friendly honest service even if it's just a stupid question - which mine was at the time on saturday!

Hi,
I've been having a few starting problems recently but think i may have sorted it last weeekend. But just to be on the safe side i have dropped the chim off at Horizon Motorsport in Cradley Heath (West Midlands). After turning up at lunchtime Monday for a chat and to find out when i could book in for a diagnostic session, i was told i could drop the car off the next morning - the owner would then drive me the 4 miles to work sort my car out and pick me up later when i finish work - all part of the service i'm told. They offer servicing from £250 for a 6 month with the option of free car collection (i don't know for what radius) or the option after dropping your car in the be taken to the local shopping center Merry hill(which is one of the largest in the country) and picked up when your car is finished.
I don't work for the garage or have any past experience of them but was recommended to use them form a Cerbie owner. The guy that owns the place is a ex-tuscan race engineer and advertises in the back of Sprint.

Being 30 and not in a suit didn't stop them being helpful with me. Even took me out for a drive when I'd told them I didn't want to buy for another six months. Had 2 Griffs and 2 Tuscans from them since then. Always found them to be absolutely spot on. Horses for courses I guess...
Cheers

Anybody got any opinions on Autotune, Hinckley, for servicing? Off list if you like.

I used them before I started using Joolz the only reason to switch was Joolz's rep, and he's closer but I had no problems with the 3 services/MOT's and any other work Merv carried out, and theres always something interesting to have a look at down there
I took my Griff to David Gerald and got excellent service, they seemed to take pride in their work. I need a service soon and will take it back again. However I originally took it to Otford for a new clutch and it came back with scratches on the wing, a brocken spotlight lense and the clutch all sloppy.
