Please don't say, "they all do that, sir"!!
There must be a waay to get my '96 Griffith to blow out something resembling cool air? Indeed, anything that doesn't resemble the exhaust from an F-14 on afterburner would be a plus.
Also, the dash, buttons and door levers are scorchingly hot (well actually just very, very warm). Is this normal?

Manual aircon system and minimum speeds of 60 (summer), 40 (spring and autumn) or 20 (depths of winter, barring ice and snow, but with silly hat).

Strangely enough I worked with a Tuscan owner (no that's not strange is it? ) who kept a blanket* in the car to keep him warm in the winter even with the top on!!! Apparently his (early) Tuscan was useless at heating the cockpit - his second Tuscan (an S) was much beeter, though, just proving that each example is an individual.
*And no - he was only in his thirties!!!!

there's a flap valve which needs to be adjusted between hot/cold.

I looked at mine the other evening, the white marks line up when set to cold, spindle turns approx 1/4 revolution when changed to hot....
When set cold no cold air any clues?

Off to the silly hat shop I guess!! Seriously, I cannot find a way that the scorching air doesn't flood the cabin. Roof off and moving is better but still a brief stop for a red light causes the sweat beads to form!

They really DO all do that, Sir! Was in two minds about getting the top of for the M'way trip to Bristol and back today. Opting for the "it might rain" preference, I reckon I was in a chance of staying drier anyway with the roof off and a twenty minute downpour... ...if you know what I mean!

Actually I have no complaints with my First Dircet account. I just can't help thinking that if they didn't spend millions on silly advertising we punters could get a bigger share.

THe old heat, heat, heat. I'd heared that around 1/3 of engine power goes in mechanical losses, 1/3 in heat and (finally) 1/3 down the road. So a top Griff 500 is shoving out 100 BHP in heat - something like 75KW. That's 75 kilowatt heaters under the bonnet. Surprisingly it doesn't all melt
