My wipers have started to play up. They occasionally don't park properly after I put them on intermittent or try to turn them off. This means that they just carry on wiping (even after the rain stops-aaahhgg!) at "normal" pace when the switch is in either the intermittent or off positions. Any suggestions?

Altogether now...

Parking switch problems caused by bad connection on motor. Open bonnet, remove plug from bottom of wiper motor, clean and replace. Gets wet and corrodes. In extreme cases the internal switch needs replacing. ALso check that you don't have a relay that has come loose in the footwell.

There are some piccies and details in the Griff bible.
