wanted griffith 4.3 or early 500
what have you i know what dealers are paying and i think this is almost robbery as i have just rang about one car a l reg 500 which i know the dealer paid £11.000 two days ago which he is now sellingon his forecourt for £17.000 rip off or what
wanted fsh lowish miles reasonable price paid {cash) for right car
OK, so he has added £6000 to the price, but what needed doing to the car before he could sell it on?
If you take in to account a possible service, tyres, warranty, paint (nose cones usually have lots of stone chips as do the mirrors), bit of profit, bit of a margin to negotiate over, it's not quite so bad - these people do need to make a living, that is their job after all!!

If anyone thinks that buying from a franchised dealer will get you a better car then think again!
I made that mistake and nearly eight weeks later I am still trying to get things sorted out. When I finally have the car sorted out properly I will be naming the offending dealer. There now follows a plug for Peninsula Automotive of Cullompton in Devon who would appear to know far more about maintaining a TVR properly than the dealer I purchased from.
had a look at the site and yes the car looks great and im sure that rarity value means a lot but unfortunatly it is just out of my price range
it would have to be less than 16.000 as i dont think the wife will let me spend more than that
if we can disscuss this e mail me on
