Dax came up with a Hayabusa Turbocharged Dax Rush that costs a little above 21k pounds. It has over 820 BHP per ton. Circuitdriver.com test drive the car a week ago and said it scared the hell out of the test driver. They haven't time the car yet, but I'm thinking with 820 bhp per ton, the car should hit 60s in under 3 secs and 100s in under 7 secs. The car is also made from carbon fiber, looks like a seven on steroids...

Dave C, Fun by the bucketful! Some advice-
Buy the softest tyres you can get. Something like avon ACB 10s or Yoko A038R. I was using Fulda Y3000+ and had to continually paint tyre softener on to get it to grip in 3rd! I had a scarey moment on a motorway when I nailed the accelerator and pulled out to pass a 911--I ended up at about 45 degrees to the road sideways before I caught it and this all happened with no warning when the boost shot up. (third gear with no tyre softener).
Don't get me wrong I am a very experienced driver and love the sideways action but this was serious BROWN TROUSER stuff.
I only had 280BHP! running 16psi boost.
I loved this car but much prefer the more progressive way a 320 BHP V8 puts the power down, making it eaiser to balance on the limit when cornering hard with the 'back end hanging out'. The turbo was too much of an on-off power power delivery for me.
But as they say if everyone looked for the same thing in a car then we would all drive exactly the same type of car----THAT WOULD BE BORING

Ken.. i understand what you say, did you have a 3.5 or 2.5 ratio rack? i plan to use the 2.5 one. on tyres...i will use softest ones poss couldnt agree with you more on that one m8
i also plan to use a new quaife atb diff with T5 dog box which tvr use should make her sing along nice.
i will only use it in good weather so im not worried about wearing out tyres even if i get through a pair a month!!
no good having all that power and wasting it on burning rubber and pooey pants smell drifting up the road!!!! i have been warned as they say
regards dave...

Dave
used the 3.5 steering rack but in hindsight the 2.5 may have helped a little at the expense of heavier steering at parking speeds.
